Partially paralysed man missing half his head 'declared fit for work by DWP'

How many data entry jobs have Excel open and ready for you every day, and don't expect you to know how to use Excel in general?

It takes literally a day to learn how to use the most basic features of excel.... I'm not asking anyone to learn C# and write their own Macros.

We are literally talking about opening the program, opening your sheet, and manually putting in values by hand.

And how, exactly, is a person with no computer skills and neurological damage going to teach them self those skills?

And why are you are assuming he is incapable of opening a web browser and navigating to a place to learn? Why? Because he is an older individual? Sick.

Not everyone has a computer readily accessible to them.

PUBLIC LIBRARIES. Pick up a god damn book or visit the computer area that is in them. If you care about learning and you are motivated, you'll manage. Also, spaced repetition and flash cards ARE NOT INHERENTLY DIGITAL.

Jesus Christ, how do you millennial think people learned in the past? Do you think we ALWAYS had the internet? No, we didn't.

Stop patronizing everyone's ability to learn and stop making excuses to live at the bottom of your safety net. Pick up a god damn book and learn. Write out some physical flash cards and learn.

I get that you're looking for any reason to call a disabled person "lazy," but you're grasping at straws.

Jesus fucking Christ. You're the one grasping at straws. You keep mentioning "Neurological damage", but THE PEOPLE WHO VERIFY THE EXTENT OF HIS NEUROLOGICAL DAMAGE HAVE DETERMINED IT ISN'T BAD ENOUGH TO PREVENT HIM FROM WORKING.

Not only has the LITERAL AUTHORITY on the matter decided, but he himself is literally complaining about how he'd just be uncomfortable.
