It really depends on wether you're looking for a validating opinion, or you're looking for a spectrum of opinions from random people on the internet to keep you in check. To some people they way you described being raised sounds bad and to others it sound healthy or ideal. We don't know what role your fiance is paying, it may sound like she's hyper-dependent on her family, but sometimes that also means she's an integral part of her family dynamic and maybe a peace keeper of sorts. Unfortunately people get the wrong idea that they're only marrying their SO, but more often they are also becoming part of their SOs family as well. I don't know if that's just my ethnic background coloring the situation, so YMMV and ESID.
