I took a class in college that culminated in spending 2 weekends at Cape Cod, combing the beaches at the ass crack of dawn, about an hour before sunrise. Those were some of the best weekends I've had, even if we didn't find a turtle ourselves. Not that it's hard to come by, more of a right time right place thing. But we did eventually get to bring that lil guy/girl to Quincey where they have the facility set up to take care of them. Would absolutely recommend anyone that has a chance to try it, even if you don't find one. Always have a banana box on hand with some towels in it in the event that you do find one, and call the Mass Audobon at Wellfleet Bay, 508-349-2615 extension 6104 to report it.
