I mean the intention of my relationship is long term, and we're only 5 months in and it's rocky for sure but I would LOVE to change that he didn't get so upset when I disagree with him on political issues. I don't pay attention to politics because I don't think my opinion is gonna matter for one, and for another it just doesn't interest me.

To him politics is a hobby and he'll talk about stuff and ask for my opinion and get mad when he shows me the "truth" and I dont agree. He'll sit there and tell me I'm ignorant and hard headed. And that I argue like a child so he's going to treat me like one. I fucking hate it. (We're both in our early 20's)

I can't get him to stop, it seems like he takes it personally. He says he gets so mad cause he cares about my opinion? I would rather discuss it and be calm about it instead of it turning into an argument every time. It comes across like he doesn't respect me which I've told him.

This issue drives me up the freaking wall. Oh he's also into conspiracy theories and this applies to that too.
