Completely agree. I'm mostly a solo stan these days! I solo stan Kai from EXO, Jisung and Taeyong from NCT, Winwin and Ten from WayV, and Junho + Dongyun from DRIPPIN.

It doesn't mean I hate the other members- far from it. I love all of these groups. I just feel like when you stan a trillion groups, at some point its just easier to completely focus on your bias. It's absolutely not akgaeism. On top of that, companies financially rely on solo stans. The way albums are sold with different member's faces, the way accounts like TenBar gather funds for his projects and albums- that mostly caters to solo stans, or at least people who highly highly favor their bias. Members like Winwin are acting and in reality shows in other countries- who's gonna tune in if not for solo stans? Members like Kai have solo albums- a lot of EXO-L's will tune in, but the majority of people going to his performances and paying for advertisements and mass album ordering are solo stans.

Sorry, that was a rant. I just think it's dumb that some people think you have to pay attention to every member in a group or else you're an akgae. And I really think it's dumb that not spending money on other member's solos or group activities not involving music apparently means you... hate them. Makes no sense.
