Not saying all young people, obviously. I haven't met them all yet. Just my daughter and her BF. My 18yo son never complains about anything. If he does, I'll know something is really wrong. With my daughter, I've got thousands of dollars in medical bills for phantom illnesses.

I'm sure your pain is real, but there are a lot of young people who complain about pain and don't have a clue. When an older person complains about pain, it's more likely to be real. Ask your doctor.

Do you manage to mention your pain every chance you get? Does it move from your neck to your back to your thigh from one day to the next? Is it a headache today and a sick stomach the next? Is your pain worse than anybody else on the planet? There are ways to recognize an "exaggerator."
