You got good points there. I know a good percentage of the player base "need" rewards to have a goal to look forward to and i get the point of that. Sure, it's cool to have something extra besides having fun playing the game.

People just have to get used to rewards not beeing colored like the rank they belong to. Maybe we'll get different colored ranks in the future, who knows.

In terms of the silver cup you are talking about: I get what you're saying but i would rather compare it to the ESL or RLCS titles (There should be a much higher reward than just a title for achieving such a high goal though).

In general i would much prefer just having the "same" reward over and over again just updated after every season. I guess like in lol (not 100% sure if thats true, i didn't play lol at all) where you get a new border every start of a new season.

Conclusion: I think we can all agree that it wasn't a really good idea to give us 2 okayish looking rewards, instead of just 1 good looking one.
