My 2's partner turned 6 today, so I made him a highlight reel from his last year. Hope you enjoy!

There is a lot to unpack here.. As Bonsun's mother trust me when I say this is not a single person on this earth that cares more about my sons well-being. Video game addiction is not recognized by the AMA, additionally stating that 1-10% of games show compulsive addiction issues but that is a character trait of those individuals not a direct cause of video games. The American Pediatrics states that children should be limited to 14hrs a week of screen time, which falls into his typical range of 5-10 hrs a week depending on our busy schedules.

There are, in fact, numerous studies that show the benefits of cognitive development, coordination, memory, perception, etc that come from video games. Psychologists agree that a more balanced approach is necessary in determining the true impact of games on children.

My son is loved, cared for, gets plenty of daily outdoor exercise, engagement with other children at school and in the numerous sports teams he plays on. This is an added benefit he gets to enjoy with both parents in a loving, supportive, and healthy environment.

Comments or concerns for the wellbeing of our son are without knowledge of our lives and family dynamic. Please step down off your soapbox and remember that people parent differently and it will never be your place to tell anyone how they should or should not parent their children.
