Wow are people seriously this fucking dumb?
Let me spell this out for you since you're obviously a complete imbecile.
I have 10% health left, Kung Lao lands a combo on me and I'm already DEAD but the combo is still going, and he is going to end it in a throw brutality.
I press start, and then quit. Within FIVE seconds I'm back in the matchmaking queue. Even if it takes an hour to find another opponent, I'm still back in the queue and that is what we're talking about here. The time to find an opponent has absolutely NOTHING to do with this discussion.
Now, if I let the combo play out, we're talking at least another 10 seconds for the combo to finish. Then I have to wait for the win animation to play out which is another 10 seconds. Then I have to wait for the scores to pop up, and even THEN sometimes my opponent quits during this part which causes the game to freeze and I have to wait another 10 seconds before it says "your opponent has left the game".
That is 30 seconds where I'm just sitting there waiting and that is the BEST case scenario.
If he doesn't do a brutality, he will most likely jump around like a jackass and then finally do a fatality, which can turn this entire sequence into a 45 second to 1 minute ordeal.
The AVERAGE time that you have to wait from the time your health reaches zero to the time you're allowed to continue, is about 40 seconds if you're lucky.
50 matches in a day X 40 seconds = 34 minutes.
Understand? I'm already spending an eternity waiting for matches to connect, waiting for people to dick around on the character select screen for 2 minutes, waiting for loading times. I don't feel the need to spend another 30+ minutes sitting on my thumbs when I can just quit which HAS NO AFFECT ON MY OPPONENT WHATSOEVER.
The hilarious thing about this thread is that the only people who are salty are the people who complain about me leaving. What I'm doing does not affect you, so why the fuck do you even care? If you wanna sit and watch bullshit after every game, that is your choice. Leave me out of it.
