People who keep gaslighting the players who wants the game more f2p are the problem.

I wish it was true but tbh I don't think this applies to gacha games. If you observe the monthly revenue reports (and exclude Genshin), the highest revenue games are the least F2P friendly ones (Nikke, Memento Mori, FGO), while the ones with fair gacha (like PGR or Neural Cloud) have a bigger playerbase but the revenue is absolutely in shambles.

In gacha, if you don't give players an incentive to spend, then they won't spend. There is no such thing as "spending money to support the devs for making a F2P friendly game", if the game dies from low revenue people will just move on to the next one. And the problem with ToF is that it has absurdly high development costs compared to non-open world gachas that all falls on the small playerbase.

There is also no guarantee that making the game F2P friendly would bring in more players. A lot of people left during the first month of the game despite high DC income and no powercreep yet just because they didn't like the core gameplay, MMO is not for everyone and especially not for fans of single player games.
