My husband desperately wanted to marry me, couldn’t give a shit about the wedding. After him being semi useless, we did a deal. All he had to do was give me a guest list for his side, he would wear a suit and would turn up. I did the rest.

We had a great wedding and he had a bloody amazing time. I had a meh time. I seriously should have gone with my gut instinct to ban all small children from the wedding. Their parents got drunk and did not parent at all! I had seven small girls follow me around ALL day, even to the loo. The parents are still not forgiven and it’s been 20 years.

If you can afford it get a wedding planner to take all your stress out of it. Even better elope!
