I just thought he was an arrogant asshole at first. My cousin dated Jared Remy for about 5 years. I only ever saw him occasionally when my cousin was around at family events. Long story short he was a serial abuser, he was regularly abusive to my cousin but the extended family didn’t know about this until he eventually put her in the hospital. That’s when we all knew he was going to kill her if she didn’t get away from him. After they broke up, he started dating another woman. They had a child together, and a few years later he brutally stabbed her to death. He is now in prison for the rest of his life. Jared Remy
