If I didn't have a super genuine interest in a particular school, I tried to pick out something that school did that I could relate to something on my resume. I wanted to try to come up with something that could show off a little bit of my personality, I guess?

For example, I found out that a school I applied to has a foreign exchange option in the same country that I did foreign exchange in during undergrad. So I talked a little bit about how the opportunity to go back would be amazing, and how it would give me a chance to practice my language skills.

I did include a hobby section on my resume which included that I have always been a skier, so at another school I talked about how I would be able to keep up downhill & xc skiing if I attended, and how at the other schools I applied to it would be harder to ski because of location or impossible because of climate.
