Peta Gatekeeping

You know, whether I love animals or not, PETA are a bunch of assholes. That's the only thing that can be said about them from where I stand. When I was a kid (and I don't know if this is happening anymore, it's been awhile since I was in the situation where we had to hunt) my state was experiencing an overpopulation of deer. As in, they'd plain starve out during winter. You'd find them frozen to the ground because there wasn't enough food. No natural predators'll do that.

Anyways, this meant it was easy to get tags. Pretty good for us because we lived in one of the poorest counties of the state. Barely had food during the winter, and things we grew during the summer was a lot of what we ate.

I'm saying all of that because those assholes saw fit to drive to a hunting spot we were in and start banging pans, screaming, and you know, literally trying to keep the poor from eating. I'm not ashamed to say that my father and a few fellow hunters wrecked everything they had. Bust out the windows to their cars, punched out their tires, tore the upholstery to pieces, dumped estrus lure in the heating vents, etc.

Those clowns got exactly what was coming to them as far as I'm concerned. Never did see any kind of disruption over there again so I guess the message was loud and clear.
