Piss off r/StarWarsBattlefront with one sentence

We are adding a new DLC next year that is not part of the season pass. It will contain: Kyle Katarn as a new hero/villain. We couldn't come up with a worthy villain counterpart, so we just use him for both sides.

We had to nerf him a bit to fit him in the game, but he is guaranteed to be totally, 100% balanced.

He moves similarly to Luke, except that he can jump three times as high and run three times as quickly. He can also double jump to reach even higher places.

He of course has his lightsaber as a primary weapon. It is capable of one-shotting enemy troopers and honor/royal guards from 50 feet away, and can hit multiple people in one swing. Of course, it will take more hits to take down a hero/villain, maybe as many as five. To balance this, we have limited his swing speed down to once per second.

He has three abilities: 1) Saber Throw: Similar to Vader's ability, Kyle can throw his saber. However, it is capable of going much further away, up to 200 feet, and it is not impeded by striking enemy troopers, heroes, vehicles, or terrain. Anything within a 50 foot radius will take 500 points of damage, and this applies for both the saber being thrown out and for the return path. Enemy troopers that get hit by the attack have a 50% chance of getting thrown back so far that they are sent to another server.

2) Super Orbital Strike: Similar to Nien's attack, he can place an orbital strike by targeting a spot on the ground using binoculars. However, each projectile does three times as much damage as that of a normal orbital strike and has double the splash radius. The strike runs for 10 seconds, and has a cooldown of five seconds.

3) Force Push: Similar to Luke's ability, Kyle can force push enemy troopers and heroes. The range is 150 feet. Unlike Luke, this does no direct damage, and works on enemy vehicles and projectiles. Since the force push is so strong, anything caught in the radius will be pushed backwards by roughly 2000 feet, thus generally pushing it out of bounds. Since this would not normally credit him with a kill, all deaths due to fall damage, trample damage, or out of bounds damage are awarded to him automatically.

He is immune to out of bounds damage, explosive shot, ion shot, dioxis, standard blaster fire, smart rockets, homing shot, being stepped on by walkers, being run over by any vehicle, or any hero based attack. We haven't tested what happens when Kyle Katarn fights Kyle Katarn, but we suspect that the server will probably crash and the universe will explode, so try not to do that.

His trait is called "Chuck Norris". Every time he takes 50 points of "damage", he gets angry/angrier and all his attacks do 25% more damage. This effect stacks up to 3 times. All allied players/vehicles within 100 feet get the same buff for 10 seconds.

Being such a powerful character, we decided to implement a unique balancing measure: whenever you pick up a hero token, you have a 5% chance of getting Kyle Katarn instead of getting your normal selection screen. You also have a 5% chance of becoming Jar Jar Binks instead.*
