Major change in plans: Opinions / thoughts wanted

Contrary to maxburton, I'm totally going to come at you.

Your idea is fucking stupid.

If I were to follow through with the plan, I am aware of all the stresses I would have to go through.

Are you? Are you really? What, you know from personal experience or something?

You are limited in so many ways trying to "start from the bottom." Your grades will suffer, nearly every aspect of your life will suffer. And you have NO GOOD REASON to go that route other than being a stubborn idiot.

Life isn't fair, but guess what, that's worked out to your advantage. Take it and run bud, don't try and act like you need to work your way up from the bottom when there isn't any reason to. You've likely never lived that way before, you have no idea how it'll affect you.

Unless you have some crazy idea that would be a better use of the money your parents set aside for you, you should take them up on their offer to help you. There's no sense in crying and moaning because you didn't have to work for a college education and there's no reason to throw it back in your parents faces.

I know I'm coming off as a dick, but I don't care. If you go this route you're only hurting yourself.
