Ropers, while mildly annoying, are just begging to have the same thing done to them...

Here’s what to do;

They are not as big a nuisance as many think. Change how you view them.

First thing I do when I see someone rope is play extremely fast in response. This is to see if they are actually roping or if they disconnected. If they disconnected, by playing fast the game will end quicker when the game forces them to lose. If this doesn’t happen tho, and it’s obvious they are roping...

I get a second screen (maybe a phone or a nearby TV or other computer) and I turn on YouTube or whatever I want to watch/read. And then I rope them back “accidentally” by paying more attention to the video I’m watching. I also will occasionally throw out a funny Hedron emote in response to either/both of our ropes.

They aren’t wasting my time anymore, they are wasting their own. I also get more petty tho...

As the time drags on in this game from the dual roping, it should eventually be apparent who will win. If it’s me, I continue enjoying my show/reading and spamming Hedrons until I get the W. If it’s apparent I will lose, then I wait until they have multiple triggers on the stack or multiple decisions to make, and I ALT-F4, in hopes they will get locked up and the game will end in a draw lol.

Any way you look at it, I enjoyed my time and they are only torturing themselves.

If you want to get petty/toxic and roll in the mud as a roper...be prepared for your opponent to do the same. I don’t mind getting dirty ;)
