See, that's your issue. You think I hate the Navy because I was a shitbag and I'm just jaded. You think I hate them because of what they did to ME. You're a fucking idiot. I hate the Navy because ten days after I got out my best friend was crushed into his rack. I hate the Navy because I now know what it means to drown in salt water because I read his father's testimony about how horrible it is. I hate the Navy because I know for a fact that the Navy knows it isn't giving operators enough sleep. I hate the Navy because when a friend dislocated her shoulder, they threatened to charge her with malingering, instead of taking her to a fucking doctor! I hate the Navy because the things that convinced me to leave were officers and chiefs covering each other for DUI's while crucifying junior sailors for minor and even accidental infractions and because when we picked up a man who jumped off his vessel onto our RHIB, because he had been being worked for 40 a day, we gave him medical attention and then put him back. I hate the Navy for it's BS, it's lie's and corruption. It is satisfying to know that Sailors both in and out have a place to talk freely about it. It's satisfying knowing you hate it.
