At 4 months, this is the most difficult time. She’s coming into her teenage phase and needs some structure, exercise, and training before mellowing as an adult. I did 12 weeks of puppy obedience training at Petco and have tried to socialize my girl as much as possible.

Mine is 7 months living in a 1-bedroom with me, and I admit there were a few days where I questioned what I got myself into. But I love her and her quirks and can’t wait to come home to her every day.

They become so attached to their owners during these early months. I implore you to try to figure out what works and keep her if at all possible. You made a commitment to her, and with any rewarding relationship, it takes work.
