I probably shouldn't tell you about this story. Which is all the more reason why I should tell you this story. This happened the month of August, was the second time meeting this person off of Pof, in the same week, and it was the weekend. We live in two different states. However, this day (Saturday) I happened to be going to an event in his part of town. we've been texting each other that day, and decided to meet up in the city at this bar after my event. My event was over, I text him to let him know I was on my way and it would take about 30 minutes to get to the bar. when I got to my car I noticed that i didn't have my id. Then I text him i didn't have my id, he called and said that i should just go home and we could figure something out later. I agree, and proceeded to go home. 5 min. later he text me a drop pin of a location and says "go here. let me know when you arrive, and i'll meet you there." I clicked on the drop pin and its the location of a Dairy Queen. ◉_◉ so i put it in my gps. I get there, i let him know i was there. he arrive about 10 min later. So were at DQ, standing next to our cars talking. He ask if I want ice cream, and declined but I said "I'll have an ice coffee instead." After that, he asked me if he could have a hug. I was like, "sure, why not?!" Then he goes and hugs me for a couple seconds and lets me go. Then after a couple min. I was in the middle of telling him something and then he goes in for another hug, this time he didn't ask.( ⚆ _ ⚆ ) Also this hug became longer than the last hug.( ⚆ _ ⚆ ) We separate briefly,（╯°□°）╯︵( .o.) and then he hugs me again without asking. I want to say this hug last for about 30 min..I was like "wow, you really like hugging!" and "Did you have a bad day or something?" and "Omg, this will be very annoying after a while!" and "my chest is hot!" (mind you, it was about 80 degrees outside). And he kept telling me, "just a little bit longer!" and "i want to break the world record with this hug." and kept laughing and making jokes about it, while he was still hugging me; like "did you get hugged enough as a child?" and "are you fucking crazy?" (legitimate question ಠ⌣ಠ ) and "you have exceeded your time for hugging!" and "no more hugs after this." While this hug fest was going on, we were next to this street with busy traffic, and a lot of cars were going by...VERY UNCOMFORTABLE WITH PDA..I told him i was uncomfortable with pda, and that I needed space..cuz it was HOT...just very nice about it. and he kept telling me "just a few minutes longer." At this point my hands are at my side and i lean on my car for support.╚(ಠ_ಠ)=┐ There's people walking past us...When we did separate eventually, I walked away, he would follow and then hug me again. THIS HAPPENED FOR 3 HOURS!! ◉_◉ He stopped hugging me because there was a cop that drove up a couple of times into the parking lot. When we parted, and i speed off in my car. As I was driving, i was so confused; i didnt know like how to process what happened. i was crying but didnt know if i should. I was a fucking mess.ಠ_ಥ I text my friend at like 1am (Sunday), "something i cant explain happened to me, i need to see you!" and she said come over. I went over her house and told her (she's anti-hugging) what happen, and then she calmly said, "honey, you were violated!" and i was in tears saying ಠoಠ "omg!! I was" I had to make sense of what happened and so natural "millennial' that I am i turn to Google..my search terms: "Excessive hugging," "hugging long periods of time," "hug abuse" <--LOL...and then the term "Hug Rape" turn up on UrbanDictionary. and i found my answer. ಠoಠ Long story short...i blocked him （╯°□°）╯︵( .o.) , then unblocked him. we talked, he explained that he was joking the entire time. I explained the "hug rape" and how i felt violated. he was shocked. after not speaking for a week, we talking again, i explained that I didnt actually feel violated, and I really felt played. I have not intentions of dating him, but we could be friends. we still talk but i don't plan on seeing him in person ever again.(̮)
