Police in Wisconsin say they’ve arrested fired hospital employee suspected of intentionally spoiling COVID-19 vaccine

I’d say no one handles the vaccines without another set of eyes in the room. They hold each other accountable.

Working in IT, the rule is no single points of failure. Full stop. You’re just setting yourself up for failure if you only have 1 person who knows it or 1 source of power or one network cable or only one data center or only one internet connection at each of those data centers. When stuff is important, you spend more to be more redundant. That’s the approach I had assumed something as important as these vaccines would be following. They accounted for accidents with temperature and gps tracking the shipments, but nobody planned the last mile and we’ve got single points of failure everywhere, including anti-vaxers working in the distribution pipeline solo.
