I can understand why it would appear that I'm stubbornly clinging to this idea because I think it's the best in the world, but that really isn't the case. I think a discussion on the topic would be more beneficial as a whole, and it can't really be a discussion if everyone says the same thing. Many people brought up valid points in regards to what I put forward, and when I would respond with counterpoints, it was in an attempt to learn more on the subject or provide different avenues of approach that might not have been considered.

In regards to your comments involving misconceptions, I'm not entirely sure where you're getting the first one from. I understand that a lot of people do show a sense of entitlement when it comes to this sort of thing, but I don't think this is an example of that? It would actually allow the community to be involved in some aspect of the project, and not just post things like "hurry up" on a forum or blog somewhere.

For your second listed misconception, I actually replied to someone who brought up that point earlier in the thread. The gist of it was that for one person to do a job well, they need a high level of competency. If ten people are working on the job, the singular level of competency can be lowered as the other nine could function as means to fill in any gaps. Finding willing people would definitely be a nightmare, though.

In regards to your third listed misconception, I understand that Japan and Asian Languages in general are a completely different animal. I'm native Korean, and while it's not exactly the same, certain rules regarding sentence formation and syntax are shared through a lot of languages based in that region. Not everyone with an interest in VNs has the ability to learn Japanese either due to lack of motivation, time, or anything else really.

I appreciate your reply as it does give me more to think about. I'm sorry that I may have come across as stubborn or contrary, but I really wasn't aiming for that.
