i think with covid 19, they faced challenges that were not easy to anticipate, and i don´t feel let down by the delay at all. i am hyped for the game since april, but i understand that stuff gets in the way. i would like to compare this, again ubisoft, with the watchdog legion release, which i heard was extremely buggy (this is total heresay though, i´m not invested in that game at all) If this is the alternative, i very much prefer a delay. another example was horizon zero dawn, which i haven´t played yet, because when i bought it it kept crashing for me, till i gave up and started playing death stranding. so a buggy release is the worst imo.

your whole vote with your wallet approach is commendable, but i think in this case its not justified. i reserve that for something like the $120 complete edition of ac valhalla, where i wait to buy it for 4 bucks on amazon, like i recently did with oddyssey (man, i really dislike ubisoft, didn´t realize that before writing this post XD)
