Empathy is the capacity to understand what another person is experiencing from within the other person's frame of reference, ie, the capacity to place oneself in another's shoes.

Empathy is actually a very important trait in one's development into maturity, and a lack of it can indicate severe developmental or personality disorders. But hopefully you don't suffer from any of them and are just an asshole of your own volition.

I don't know why you keep using anger as if it's a bad word. Why wouldn't someone be angry, infuriated, disgusted at how trans* people are treated in society? That even when they aren't being murdered and bullied and assaulted and being told that they're delusional, they're completely ignored as a demographic?

How did you have enough time to read the sources in question, their sampling and research methods, that you can decide that their bias had such an effect that the statistics were overblown? Do you have some supreme knowledge about the statistics surrounding the lives and deaths of trans* people? Where are these statistics, fully objective and representative as they supposedly are?

Furthermore, a socially-oriented argument does not have to refrain from statistical evidences, qualitative and quantitative research can be and often are used in tandem to provide a fuller, more in depth understanding of subjective experiences while still having more numerical data to support it. Also, I'd advise you to look up hypocrite in a dictionary, but you don't seem to be able to spell the damn word.
