Why would you have a religious funeral for a suicide victim? I get that that may have been the family faith but if this is true you know what the rules and consequences are for your alleged actions are and how the church see it. This is why I left religion, it is no longer needed in today’s society. It played its part when societies needed to establish norms on how to treat ourselves and one another. But make no mistake, it was writer by man. I choose to believe a God or Gods may exist but I denounce any and all religion. If someone does good deeds because they believe it will land them in heaven or refrain from doing bad things for fear of going to hell they are missing the point. If we use religion as our only motive for behavior we are missing the point.
