Pro gun supporters, why do you support gun rights?

The Afrikaners I believe are descendants of Dutch, German and French settlers who arrived in the Cape from 1652 to 1806.

At the time, the land was inhabited by a people called the Khoisan, who today number around 400,000.

The bulk of the Blacks in South Africa today are Bantus, descendants of those who migrated from the North, defeated the Khoisan and seized much of their land.

History is full of examples of one nation defeating and dispossessing another. It's human nature really.

South Africa today has seen over 20,000 farm attacks since 1994. The 'Black Economic Empowerment', an affirmative action program, essentially puts the Afrikaners at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to employment opportunities and such, even below Anglo South Africans and other Whites.

Many Afrikaners live in poverty, are looked down upon, blamed for everything wrong with the country and made fair game for criminals and farm attackers.
