So I’ve had two issues with my launch PS5 - disc getting stuck in vertical position with a loud grinding noise while trying to eject it and the random green screen of death while going to Rest Mode. Talked with the support last month, described both issues and sent my console to the service center. After about 2,5 weeks I received my PS5 (the same unit) and while the drive problem seems to be fixed I still randomly get green screen going into Rest Mode. That means complete power off and having to rebuild database after launching the console. AFAIK it’s a hardware issue with a lousy motherboard (or not?). And here’s my question - should I submit another ticket or Sony won’t do much apart of sending me my unit with the note „repaired”?
