[PSA] Please remember that aging and having wrinkles will NOT make you worth less than someone that’s young or without wrinkles

It's really sad and ridiculous, so I try to stop thinking that way, but it's hard. I'm 23 and having bad fine line problems, especially around my mouth, I think because I sleep on my face/stomach and literally always have, have super dry skin in general and dry patches near my mouth that emphasize/push against the lines around my mouth when I smile and make them deeper, lost a *lot* of weight gradually over the last 5 years, and really overdid it with the BHA over the past few years...working on all of it, but.

I don't smoke, drink more water than most and always have, and spend significantly less time in the sun + wear sunscreen much more diligently and often than the average person. I've been really distressed by it because it seems like I have to take so many precautions to maybe see a small improvement. And with winter coming my dehydration issues are probably, surely, only going to get worse.

But last week 2 people told me they thought I was 18, despite my having this problem. So while I'm still working on all of that, I 1) think that our problems are rarely as bad and noticeable as we think and regardless that 2) we should be as free as possible when it comes to things like laughing and smiling because is that not the point of life, to be happy and joyous?
