Do questions on here usually splinter off into "who is really trans"? Not rhetorical, seriously asking if this is something I should keep in mind and guard myself against when entering into discussions.

I have no intent of stopping my advocacy for transexual ppl

I've seen and experienced the worst transphobia, with real and damaging consequences for myself and others, in spaces that claimed to value and uplift trans people. Been at this game for a minute.

I have this obnoxious personality trait wherein I stand up for my convictions and rely on my own bespoke analyses instead of lazily accepting the contemporary ideology that always ends up hurting my friends. I've helped countless women at all stages of their transition and seen their lives improve dramatically -- I don't see any reason to abandon my fundamental belief that the contemporary gender politics reinforce the structural oppression of transexual individuals.
