Radical Leftists on Reddit celebrate the anniversary of the fatal shooting of 5 officers in Dallas: "Oooh, I remember that day. That was a good day." [+25], "BASH THE PIGS" [SH]

Can you point specifically to these regulations that created this monopoly?

1) Market allocation via local ordinances, for starters.
2) Price Controls and other Market Controls stifle competition and limit opportunities service variability.

Because when you do I'll be able to debunk this.

I fail to see how this is a result of Free Market Capitalism - looking forward to it. You've already admitted that this is a result from the ISPs lobbying the government for these exclusivity rights.

I'm assuming your pointing towards the "regulation" made by ISP lobbying. Yes that was regulation failure due to unchecked capitalism where corporations are allowed to lobby for legislation.

Corporatism.

However this does not inherently mean that other regulation won't fix it.

Regulation to fix Regulation.

The main think you are ignoring is that ISPs are lobbying to REMOVE net neutrality in the same way they lobbied for monopolistic control.

Of course - it is a self interested move to gain the freedom to operate their private businesses as they see fit. Deregulate the industry en masse and let them compete on a free market.

You're idea to fix this problem is to give MORE control to the ISPs who have used any control they have to make the problem worse.

No. My idea is to implement free market principles to an overregulated market and industry.

I would like to see companies like Comcast go up in smoke due to competition via a better company that offers a better product at a cheaper price... whereas you'd like to see Comcast and their cohorts provide the same quality of internet to all markets.
