I’m not interested in doing Ultimate.
Why though?
I am confused as to why, if you are looking at sinking time into the game you are not looking to engage with the content available to you that is exactly aimed at doing just that.
I don’t find doing Fell Court of Troia, Keeper of the Lake, Dohn Mheg, King Moogle, Alexander 1 and Syrcus Tower fun to do every day cause that’s pretty much what’s guaranteed to pop for roulettes every day.
So why not queue yourself into non-roulettes? Roulettes are optimal but you can still queue for anything for your own enjoyment. Today I queued for Aglia, yesterday I did Nier AR etc.. I did some extremes, ultimates to get some tomes too.
You have content available, you just choose not to engage with it.
even if it’s 5 DR runs in a row and being bored, at least I’m playing what I paid for.
Ultimately it boils down to an approach/opinion difference.
Personally I am paying so that the game keeps me engaged. Playing content that makes me bored out of my mind or forces me to afk and wait for the next fate or queue pop is the antithesis of engagement, because I am restricted to this only small part of the game in a non engaging way. I am not feeling engaged, I am feeling bored.
If the game fails at engaging me, then I unsubscribe and come back later when it does. Keeping the sub up is a choice, not a requirement. And I would say that most people probably feel the same way, otherwise we would not have had Bozja steps being improved significantly several times throughout the updates.
