Redditors who prevented disasters of any magnitude, what DIDN'T happen and why?

It was my sister's wedding, and my father was just about to walk her down the aisle. My mom and I were sitting on either side of my grandmother at a table close to the arch. Now, my grandmother is just short of evil. She can't stand when she's not the center of attention, and she'll do whatever she can to ruin everyone's day. My mom had been in a slight panic since that morning because my grandma showed up to the wedding in one of her "woe-is-me, I'm sick" moods, meaning she was had purposefully not taken her insulin and would be eating poorly all day until something bad happened (yeah, she does this often), ON TOP of being in her usual shitty mood.

As we stood to watch my sister walk down the aisle, my grandmother stood up . . . and teetered. I lean close and ask her to sit because she might fall again (she had already fallen once that day). She waved me away, and my mom gave me a terrified glance. As my sister and dad are about halfway to the arch, my grandma falls - all 300 lbs. of her. I manage to catch her under the arms mid fall, and my mom starts to silently freak out. All I can think is that my grandma CANNOT be allowed to ruin my sister's wedding. I don't know how I did it, but I was able to lift my grandma just enough for my girlfriend to slide a chair under her, all without making a single sound, while safely hidden behind everyone else standing. On top of that, NO ONE saw what happened because our front table was momentarily the BACK table as everyone faced my sister.

So, tl;dr I kinda prevented my miserable grandmother from ruining my sister's wedding.
