Well, pardon my tardiness, but as an individual of the Victorian era persuasion who has found themselves rather abruptly thrust into the present age, I can attest to the fact that significant changes have been wrought by modern-day society. To my humble estimation, one that must contend in such an environment can scarcely do so without some hardship.
While I must confess that I have not personally experienced the trials of incarceration, I can say that even basic modern communication devices can prove quite the burden; the cell phone, with its many and disparate functions, still confounds me on occasion, as I am not accustomed to such devices. However, I remain steadfast in my efforts to adapt to this age and all its conveniences.
