Reducing Cache folder size

Theoretically indeed, but unlimited cloud storage from providers like Google and Dropbox cost less than 20€ a month. While a dedicated server like this with 2TB NVMe SSD storage costs almost 70€, the price after this specific configuration is beside the question of availability drastically increasing.

So yes, my idea was to look for solving the root cause of a massive Cache directory (which is due to the size of the Library, but also because of Plex having a different Poster for every single client from my understanding, correct me if I'm wrong).

If this affects many people and if we might have a chance to improve something here, I would be very glad.

Else, my last idea would be to also outsource this directory to cloud storage but I'm not too sure how much that affects the speed and the sense of a local Cache.
