That's not really a thing... Hardware can run 24/7 full blast for years and not 'wear out'. The only thing that might wear out is fans or pumps.

Noise is the only thing I may give you, if it's in your bedroom you really don't want the noise in there. But do the drives really make that much noise? Maybe invest in some sound proofing for the case rather than build out something else.

Power consumption will be the same regardless of which hardware you have running 24/7. I have everything running on my windows 10 box for storage i just use windows storage spaces (I have 4x10 + 4x14 in my storage space). It really doesn't make much noise.
