Religion has been consumed too literally leading to more confusion

77 years is a pretty long time my friend.

The Gospel of John went through a couple or a few stages of development, with each "edition" having a different author and sitz im leben. The "first edition" to John dates around 50-70 CE. This edition may have been written by the Beloved Disciple himself. The "last edition" to John dates from 80-110 CE. Most scholars think that the Gospel of John is at least based on the eyewitness testimony of the Beloved Disciple.

And Paul's Christology is such that it doesn't necessarily line up with the the rest of the Gospels, especially John. Eg biblical scholars like Bart Ehrman think that Paul thought that Jesus was an Angel and the Gospel of the John has Jesus identified with the logos of Yaweh, a concept introduced into Christianity via Hellenized Jewish Platonist, Philo of Alexandria.

"to them belong the patriarchs, and from them, according to the flesh, comes the Messiah, who is God over all, God blessed forever." (Rom 9:5)
