Your comment is stupid for several reasons

I am not even responding to you. I am responding to OP who literally mentions "FAANG" companies and how luck is a factor.
Even if I were responding to you, you don't even mention why my comment is not true or say anything substantive. This is a career sub and as such my point that people can deterministically get into it IS helpful and relevant. Why should I care whether it needs to be related what you're "talking about." This sub is not about you, and I couldn't care less about that.
You probably work for some shittier company given the saltiness. Don't lash out you being poor to other people.
