The Resistance

They still have millions of slave laborers now; that's the side of the Gulf states that's rarely heard off; they "import" "guest workers" from Thailand, West Africa, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Eritrea, and Somalia. Companies use bogus ids and forged visas, end up indebting the poor guys who think they are leaving poverty through legal means, they then practically enslave them without actually calling it slavery; they get harassed for leaving work or the camps they keep them at, they share rooms in the desert on a floor with twenty different people, no air conditioning or water, no fresh food, not even plumbing or showers. To make it more fucked up the companies bride officials and businesses for contracts, all while charging their employees for "services" and "necessities" in order to get them more in debt

It's fucking terrible. The irony of how these countries are ruled theocratically by hardline islamist monarchys who party, drink, smoke, and ignore one of the five Islamic pillars (similar to the Ten Commandments) that talks about charity. Hypocrisy at its finest.
