Returning a phone to a troublesome customer

I didn't want to put this in the original post because it wasn't really necessary. Conversation with phone carrier.

Phone carrier: Hello. How may I help you? Me: I've found this phone and I am trying to locate the owner Carrier: Ok, let me help you. What is the phone's number Me: It's currently locked. I do not know the number. All I have is the IMEI Carrier: What is the IMEI Me: Blah blah Carrier: Thank you, customer's name Me: No, I'm the person that found the phone and is trying to locate customer's name Carrier: Oh ok. customer's name phone number is: - Me: No, I have his phone. If I call that number this number will ring. Carrier: I see your problem. customer's name is on a family plan. Do you want to try calling someone on his plan? Me: Yes, I think that would be best. Carrier: Gives me his sister number

All this took about 20 minutues

Customer sister answers the phone. Freaking out that someone is calling about her brother's phone. Tells him someone phone has his phone. He didn't understand where I am from. I told him this is the autopart store that he came in earlier. Then, he goes, "Oh!"
