i just paid $30 for a passport card on the website....mailed it to me in 3 weeks.

cheper, no rmv visit, and this whoel real id thing sounds lie a cluster-fuck shit show that is going to go horribly wrong somehow so i figured i might as well just spend 5 miniutes to drop a form in the mailbox and get a federal ID i know will let me on planes and work in all 50 states .... i have a feeling this whiole thing about each state needing real id's but not being mandatory when most people dont even need to renw their lisence yet is goig to ....

well lets just say my faith in the federal annd state governmetns ability to implement this system without any problems is not all that high....

simply base on the fact that i have been to the rmv before and never thought "this is good...i liike this place. it runs like a well oiled machine and everyone is pleasant helpful and very good at their job...id like to see them team up with the TSA and fix this gosh darn brokendrivers lisence id system once and for all even though i didn realie there was any problem to be fixed in the place " lol

a passport card and a passport are not the same btw...pasport card is a federal plastic photo id for domestic travel... fyi if anyone was confused. just get one of those iintead.
