same, I was on the covid units for months in another state, full riot gear and the over-head masks. did it suck? yeah. do these stupid little surgical masks in public even compare? hell no. the thought of potentially catching covid and giving it to someone and risking killing them was all the encouragement I needed to be careful. am I sad I can't wear all of my normal makeup like i've done for years? yeah, but what would be sadder is knowing i indirectly killed someone lol. jfc

I don't know, even now ! why this is such a struggle for people. and for all people who lie about asthma: I have severe asthma too and have not died from the masks :)
