Rogue One Reviews & Discussion Spoiler Megathread

I've had a few hours to process what i saw last night at the midnight showing and here are my thoughts. Firstly, it was really really good, like almost Empire level good, the tone felt right, the deaths gave the story weight and overall me and my friends loved it! From seeing Blue milk, hearing the stormtroopers talk about there e-15 (think its called that) blasters being replaced, to seeing the amazing cgi versions of the old cast. It's hard to think of negatives about it for me other than silly nit picking things like how the cruiser escapes at the end which links to the start of episode 4. How could they pretend they were on a diplomatic mission when they were just involved in the biggest battle of all time haha, like Vader and everyone saw them fly off from the battle, made me laugh. I would have liked Mon mothra (think thats her name) to have referred to the rebels as the Bothans just to tie that up as that line now makes no sense in episode 4. Like i said just nit picking, the film is excellent, really happy!!!!!!
