The whole thing looks like it could be a case of "I didn't really want to do it but I did it anyway because I couldn't bring myself to really protest against it". Like, they might not want to do stuff, they say no, stop, but at the same time don't have the self-confidence, the mental strength to actually, resolutely say no. These cases are a bit complicated. On one hand there has been some sort of coercion (or taking advantage of an asymmetry, or a weakness of some kind), on the other hand it's not exactly violence (never mind the bruises and that kind of stuff, that's quite "normal" in sex). And I'm saying this in the most detached way, I have no intention to defend a lad who is very probably scum.
