RONDO?

Why are you people still having so much trouble grasping Rondo’s negative impact and looking beyond the box score? Sure he might put up a decent stat line with double digit points/assists from time to time. But it comes at the cost of him limiting everybody else he’s on the floor with. He handles the ball way too much for someone who isn’t a scoring threat and keeps it out of the hands of better players. And when he doesn’t have the ball teams practically ignore him on the perimeter and clog the lane for everybody else. Even when someone like Caruso is putting up stinkers going 2/7 for 6 points he’s still doing less harm than Rondo during his “good” games because he doesn’t demand the ball as much and teams actually respect his shot
