Rotoworld: Waiver Wired Week 8

The Drop List QB: Eli Manning RB: Eddie Lacy, Kenneth Dixon WR: Tyler Lockett, Phillip Dorsett TE: Jason Witten

Going back to the Eli well feels dangerous, but besides two plays to Odell Beckham which make up 13.3 percent of his yardage and half of his touchdown output, Manning has not done much of anything the last four games. Now he is on bye, and he gets the Eagles after the break. He is not going to be start-worthy in standard leagues for two weeks at best. Lacy could be done for the season, and even if he is able to come back, it will not be until Week 15 at the earliest. He is unlikely to help any fantasy teams this season. Dixon played seven fewer snaps than Lorenzo Taliaferro, who was just activated off the PUP on Saturday. Coach John Harbaugh said he wants to get the rookie more involved, but it is tough to justify holding him through a bye just to see if he can get six touches a game instead of three. It is just not happening for Lockett this season. His upside makes him a hold if at all possible, but he can be cut in a bye-week crunch. Witten has yet to score or top 70 yards this season, and the Eagles present a tough challenge for tight ends.
