I actually got into this the same way you did but younger. It really depends on what she means by rough sex and have her open up to you on what that means. Communication is everything.

I basically have a five factors that I introduce. Be confident and controlling; sensual, passionate, and/or withholding.

Some things that I found work really well is to introduce a little bit of a shock factor. Not necessarily mean do something crazy by the way. You could go slow and sensual then turn her around pay attention and read her reaction and turn things up a bit. It's all about timing sometimes.

It sounds crazy but I almost have a flowchart in my head of what I'm going to do.

For example we would start off kissing and keep things sensual, I would stand my ground and slowly and naturally back her into a wall (controlling).

From there I'll turn it up just a little bit either by

putting her hands behind her and holding it there with one hand OR, if I don't want to go too fast, I work my hands around her body and maybe grab her chest slightly a bit hard. Run my hands to the back of her head by the roots.

From there I might just turn her around against the wall, push my body against her a little, pull her head back a little till her ear is by my mouth and whisper something along the lines of....

"don't make a fucking sound"

From here I might take my free hand and pull down her panties just enough. Or, simply just tell her what to do.

Spanking needs to be hard, fast, and sharp. Not necessarily hurtful btw...

Favorite position is doggy (prone works great but IMO it should be done once in a while to keep its flavor) and missionary is a close second.

Not sure if I answered your question but there is so much you can do. Just make sure she's cool with it. Discuss it with her beforehand and pay attention to her. You're still giving her an experience but needs to act like you're in it to take it. If that makes any sense.
