Rule

My uncle is similar, retired at like age 50 and spends all his time traveling because he was a shareholder in trains or some shit. I don't see him as a good person, he lacks work ethic and thinks he's smart for passing his work onto other people. He genuinely believes he worked harder and smarter than everyone else and earned his early retirement instead of just being privelaged. I can't blame him for feeling that way because the system encourages it. I don't think he's a bad person but he's not a good one either. He doesn't think about other people. He would be more grateful if he did. Every time someone retires early, someone else is retiring later to pick up their slack because a portion of their wages were stolen by that person and they had to work more hours to afford necessities. He doesn't even appreciate the people funding his retirement, he looks down on them.
