i feel like lock is the safer dynasty move but darnold is the ceiling play.

it's easy to forget that we've only seen darnold's age 21, 22 & 23 seasons. lock is a half year older.

the jets will likely have the 1.01, which means trevor lawrence. if they take him, you have to think they'll trade darnold. there's a good chance he's on another team in 2021.

how would we feel about darnold v lock if sam's on the colts, saints, 49ers, vikings, bears, or steelers? all might make a move for their next guy in 2021... and darnold for a 2nd or 3rd might be a better option than the incoming rookies available there.

a lot will depend on what he shows when he comes back.
