They’re jealous. The Giants have been one of the most successful MLB teams since the turn of the century while the A’s have become a second-class franchise with an unknown future in their own city. The Giants are better than them in every way at this point, from their performance on the field to their attendance and their media marketability.

I don’t hate the A’s or their fans either but it’s hard not to mock them when they act so bitter and hostile towards us all the time. I mean just look at the guy who you originally replied to, the A’s had nothing to do with this game or this milestone yet he just decided to talk shit. Even the Dodgers fans in this thread aren’t as salty as him and they have much more of a reason to be invested in and hate the Giants success. It’s not just him either, the A’s subreddit is filled with people with the “fuck the Giants” attitude. It’s so bizarre.
