Jake looks at the screen where a video is being played, obviously recorded by a hidden, handheld camera.
The video shows frightening scenes: people, once normal, now deformed and contorted, move about in an unnatural way, twitching and snarling. While some are as fast as lightning, their moves snappy and sudden, others seem lethargic, standing motionless, as if rooted to the spot. All of them seem to be completely unaware of one another.

What follows, is even worse: a boy, maybe thirteen or fourteen years of age is being shoved into a cage.
The creatures that are already all around him, suddenly go ballistic.
The go wild, primal, it;'s not long before they tear him apart and devour his body until nothing's left of him anymore.
Jake turns his head in disgust. He witnessed all kinds of cruelty in the the wars on Megalopolis, but this is far from war. What the fuck is this shit!?

'Look at this!' This is what I really wanted to show you', says Atrax, returning his attention to the screen as if what they've jsut seen was dull and uninteresting.
